2. What else is required to brood poultry with this lamp?
Obviously you will require bedding, a feeder and a drinker. It should be in a draught free room. Also, as with any infra red lamp, it is best to have an energy efficient light bulb in the room if there is no outside light, as when the light is off...there is no light from the lamp, when it is on, it is infra red, so not as visible to the chicks.

Wheatcroft Poultry Comment:
We use the Caldo Bello's as heat lamps and they are by far better than the conventional heat lamp. The bulbs last for ages, we have one in its forth season! The water quality in the drinker under the heat lamp is not compromised, which I believe helps improve chick liveability.
